Cholestasis at 39 weeks?

Question

Has anyone experienced Cholestasis at 39 weeks? I have been itching severely for about 5 days. Started on my belly only then to my ankles then my wrists arms and scalp. I use non frangrance lotion nothing new. I took Benadryl last night and woke up in a severe itch. Theres no rash.  I want to call the doc in the morning and have them test for it but feel like they will be annoyed since I called today for some cream. But it’s not helping...

Thanks! I went today waiting on blood results and a rash popped up on my ankles so a scare is all it was! But I’m glad I went I would hate for something bad to have happened and me not being an advocate for me and my baby girl! Now she just needs to come on!!

Yeah, my rash is strictly to my belly so it could be pupps which isn’t as dangerous as what you’re describing! Trust your instinct and go to an urgent care if needed my rash is strictly by the marks of my belly 🙄

No! Call because my friend had to get induced due to cholestasis it can be harmful to baby! She got induced @36 wks

So I haven’t developed a full rash but my stretch marks really have been itching burning and a couple have bumped up I’ve tried cortisone which doc said was good I’ve tried other moisturizers etc. The only thing that has helped is something cold. So Ill rub some ice on it and omg it feels amazing. No more hot showers for me 😭
