Would you recommend TTC if you know you have very limited finances?

Someone once told me if you wait you can afford a baby you’ll never have any. 🤷🏻‍♀️ seriously though if you really want a baby you can make it work.

It depends on what ‘limited finances’ are. Is the money so tight you can barely cover the bills? Then yes I’d wait. If it’s limited like you cover bills but can’t afford to eat out every week then that’s different. If you have family that would buy off a registry that helps, if you would have to buy everything yourself consider those extra expenses that can’t be pushed off. Consider the medical bills and what insurance covers.

My main concerns are daycare and unexpected birth costs

Our money was right with my last baby them it went wrong when I lost my job. I mean really anything can happen. If you look at all that's involved (child care costs, medical, clothing etc.) and you feel you can make it work then go for it. Really IMO the biggest expense is child care (ours is 275/week) so if you can manage that you can figure everything else out.

If you are limited as in you are bringing in barely enough / just enough for bills, I wouldnt.
Doctors visits, final hospital bills are ridiculous. I have pretty good health insurance and i’m still looking at 2-3k in bills for my son and I. 
I was miserable by week 38 and started my maternity leave. If there was a complication in pregnancy, people have to stop working sooner.
On the other side of that- if it happens, AWESOME. It is definitely do able. You just have to really sit down and look at your finances. Prioritize wants / needs. Build a registry of NEEDS, not the bells and whistles. Emphasize you’d rather the necessities (diapers, wipes) v the “cool” stuff. Think practical and long term (3-1 pack n play or crib) over the latest fads (bassinets / mini cribs). Know where you stand in regards to WIC, dont be afraid to buy second hand, etc.
