Iud and no period (6 months)

So I got my IUD inserted June 8th of this year (17), and everything went fine. However in October (4 months after), I started to spot like crazy almost everyday. It finally stopped about a month after and since then my periods have vanished! For 2 months I haven’t had one, or spotting! Around the time I’m supposed to get my period I do sometimes get cramps still. I’m not pregnant I took a test so I’m wondering if it’s normal. Before I had the iud I had irregular periods but I never usually skipped only late. I also went on the pill and after that I was regular the 5 months leading up to the iud. Like very regular on the spot. I have PCOS so not getting my period makes me worry I’ll have even further fertility issues! Lol any experience with this? Is it normal?
