Yes!  I'm a mom of 3 and laugh when I see these lovely extensive birth plans and then after the birth they're so sad that they didn't get their magical experience....none of my 3 births went according to my 'ideal plan'. But it's just a few hours compared to a lifetime of motherhood!

I have a fucking hilarious birth plan, it’s pretty much requesting the things I want in a manner that gets laughs too.
Except the NICU plans, by that it says, No humor here, seriously I just want my daughter to be okay.
By circumcising it says “we are pretty sure this is a girl, but in just in case, no.”
By room preferences it says “we would like the door closed as often as possible, I don’t want to disturb other mothers with my hate and discontent”
“We would like to play music, you might not like it, but that’s why the door is closed”
It’s actually pretty simple. I didn’t have many requests when it comes to a birth plan.
