baby sleep normal?

okay so my baby is 8 days old today and the past few days he's been sleeping very long periods of time snd when he's sleeping it's like hes dead. we lift up his arm snd it falls to his side. is this normal for newborn?

Completely normal haha. Appreciate it while you can because it doesn’t last forever ! Haha 
I would also just add to make sure you have absolutely nothing in the crib with the baby okay.  Just the baby. No blankets or toys. Sids is real in my family and especially when they sleep so deeply :(

It’s normal for babies yes. They sleep really hard and it just doesn’t wake them up.

It is normal, but newborns can forget that they have to eat. They should sleep maximum 3 hours between meals. Especially first 10 days.
