Low T and TTC

Ginny

My husband and I have been trying to convince going on 7 months now. He has had low T for awhile now and was prescribed a testosterone injection to help. We were told it may affect sperm count but is unlikely. Well after 5 months of trying with nothing but bfn's I did some research and found out that it drops sperm count significantly and in some cases makes man infertile. Its a doubly edge sword really. With the T injection he has low sperm without it he is always tired and never wants to bd. He is taking a multivitamin now to hopefully help but it can take 6 to 24 months for his sperm to return to normal. We are hoping to get some answers from our pc soon and hopefully find something to help. I myself have hashimotos autoimmune but it is controlled. I really hoped we would get our bfp for Christmas but af showed up as usual. Its really depressing every month and shout out to all the women who have dealing with bfn for years. I respect you all so much! That's our story so far hoping for a bfp in the new year. I ovulate this coming week so maybe we will get a late Christmas present. Good luck to you all!!
