Belly button piercing still bleeding after 5 months?

I’ve had it pierced since July and it’s still bleeding at times and has goo coming out. I don’t know how to stop it from getting caught in jeans, and in school we have uniforms and it rubs off my skirt which causes bleeding. I’m scared it won’t heal because of this, and it has been 5 months, is something wrong?

Sounds like it may be infected. I would have someone look at it.

If yours is bleeding all the time, it might have something wrong. But when i first got mine, i still was bleeding for a few months every once and awhile. Belly button piercings dont fully heal until a year mostly.

if it is getting caught, try putting a big bandaid on it. That's what I had to do when I had jeans that caught on it. It helped me. Occasionally I still have to do it because it will hurt from the button on my pants.
