Period is 7 Days late, but keep getting neg tests?!?

My period is now 7 Days late, but I keep getting negative home pregnancy test results. I’m feeling really bloated, but ate too much during Christmas. Should I keep testing or take “no” for an answer? Is it possible to be pregnant, but get so many (6-8) negative tests?

I am in the same boat but my periods are sometimes irregular so I have a hard time pinpointing when I ovulate. On average my cycle is 35 days so according to that I am 5 days late but I’m getting negative pregnancy test results. It’s so frustrating.

I had that happen to me. My period was a month late. My doctor sent me for a blood test to be sure I wasn't pregnant and then she prescribed hormones to help me get my period. She said those home tests are accurate 99% of the time and my body probably needed time to recover after being on birth control for years. Also, stress can really mess up your cycle.
