Changing Clomid days

So normally I take 50mg, days 5-9. I’ve done 4 rounds like this. Since round one, my cycles are exact. Positive opk cycle day 18 and 19, then back to negative on cycle day 20. Period shows up about cycle day 34-35. Well I’m ovulating every round, but haven’t conceived yet. So with my own research and finding women have more success on cycle days 3-7, I decided to switch. So this cycle I took the same 50mg just on cycle days 3-7. Well here it is, cycle day 18... and my opk was negative? Now I’m worried I messed myself up. I didn’t expect my cycle to be the exact same, but from what I’ve read, you usually ovulate earlier taking Clomid on cycle days 3-7 so I was expecting to ovulate sooner. But after yesterday’s test being negative still, I was thinking maybe I’d just ovulate normal time, but today, when it was negative, I’m feeling discouraged. Any thoughts ladies?
