Been on my period for 8 days now and I’m on Sprintec birth control pills

So I’ve gotten on birth control on the 4rth of December and everything was cool but then I forgot my pills in my cousins car and when she came back I took them immediately I haven’t had sex since October the beginning and I looked up can birth control make your period longer and the resources said yes but only if you taken them wrongly I just got my new pack I still have white ones in my old pack but I thought you really didn’t need to take them 😩so I took two white ones with my new blue one for my new pack did I mess everything up and I usually take my birth control around 8 Am but I was gonna switch it to 6 or 8 Pm cause that’s a better time for me but when will this period end 😩I get cramps and all it’s like period is slightly heavy as well can anyone tell me that imma gonna be okay how long will this last😩
