Question to all my fellow (especially) Nurse mamas. Please help!

Anna

Hello Mamas!

I have a baby born at 37 weeks- who is two weeks shy of being 3 months old. I breastfeed mostly on demand with a loose schedule. My son fell into a schedule on his own where he is sleeping his biggest stretch from 6pm-12am. Happy he is finally getting more sleep that way but it comes with a cost of waking up every 2 hours over night to feed. And feeding every 2-3 hours during day. He mostly feeds 7-8 times. (Trying to reduce night feeds) He is happy and awake again around 5-6am. He is a terrible day time napper unless rocked/soothed to sleep

I’m not slated to return to work (12 hour days) until he is 4+months old in late February but wondering if he will start sleeping through the night or at least dropping a feed/two.

Question 1.)

how to push back my sons bedtime and have him start to sleep more at night.

Question 2.) how did you go about day care for long hour workdays?

Question 3.) how did you pump at work to maintain breast milk supply?
