IT WONT GO IN 😂😩 please help haha

Okay soo, me and my man have been dating for almost 2 years and a couple weeks ago we finally decided it was time we had sex because he wanted to prove to when we had first started dating that he didn't want me just for one thing but because he loves me for all of me so he's waited all this time till just a couple weeks ago cause we had talked about it before realizing we've both wanted to do this for a long time , now he's not a virgin... but I am and when we tried it literally would not go in 😂 like it turned into a joke 😂 talk about human cockblocker 😂 but he was really slow and gentle with trying to put it in but just barely even the tip could make it in and I could feel the pressure but i told him it was okay if he pushed harder because he feels bad about hurting me in any way so he did but no mater what we tried it hadn't gone in... like He can't even fit 2 fingers in there ... and we tried again and the same thing happened but I'm kinda afraid to try again because maybe there's something else I should be aware of?? any tips and advice would be appreciated 😂😊 please
