Has anyone had dental work in their 3rd tri?

I have a severe toothache and will be going in to have it looked at. I’m concerned about the safety of having dental work done but I can’t possibly wait for the baby to be born this pain is unbearable and just started this morning. Im only 32 weeks pregnant.

when I was pregnant with my son I had dental work done my whole pregnancy. root canals, pulls and  crowns I was just fine. currently need 3 root canals found out at the beginning of this pregnancy but haven't been able to get them done so it's been miserable. if you can get it fixed do so. if it makes you feel better just call the nurse at your ob office

I got 2 wisdom teeth pulled and a filling at about 34 weeks

if you can wait. def wait. with my 1st I had dental work and regret it. horrible pain. try oil pulling

I had 2 root canals done in my third trimester. had to be done. I couldn't wait. baby is good

Not in third but in my first I had a root canal done. Amoxicillin is safe if it is a type of infection and the lidocaine they use is totally safe too. Let your ob know you’re going and they may give you a permission slip type thing so dentist knows what is ok to use and What isn’t. That’s what mine did.

to my case  it was extreme  painful to my second trimester iwas about to go to dentist someone told me to use garlic clove I use it, ever since then, i stop complaining about toothache I'm 36 Weeks now no pains at all

I just had a tooth pulled at 33 weeks and it was awful pain afterwards . . They made me get prior auth from my ob and he recommended not using novicane .. And to use something else .. I can finally say a week later it all went away and was very much worth it !!!
