Who else has GD?

How are you coping? Dealing? This is my third pregnancy but first time with it. I took it very hard the first few days. Luckily I am diet controlled for now. I miss being able to eat what I want! I was going to try for a vaginal birth after 2 sections (VBA2C) but now that this is going on I think I’ll just opt for my third c section 😕

the book :real food for gestational diabetes! cinnamon! It helps lower blood sugar so sprinkle it into anything it'll go with. halo top ice cream before bed... I known it sounds silly but my midwife suggested it and it's helping my fasting numbers. walks after meals, especially after 4pm. doterra essential oil: slim and sassy. 4-8 drops in water after every meal. good luck mamma! It's only a few months! these tips have helped me manage without any meds! (and also helped slow my weight gain kok)

I have it and they put me on insulin shots twice a day. It’s not so bad- I just hope it all goes away after my baby girl is born.

I was 3 points away from being automatically labeled with GD after my 1 hour so I have an appointment with an endocrinologist today instead of doing a 3 hour. Idk how I’m going to cope yet. :(

I am diet controlled as well! It’s my first day checking my blood sugar. I have to do it 4 x a day and record it in a log. I hate poking myself 😞 really trying to be cautious of what I’m eating because I don’t want baby to have any problems
