babies naturally want to be held, cuddled, loved, nurtured. it's scientifically proven to be good for their development, so don't listen to anyone that says your baby is "spoiled". Your baby is expressing his/her needs and it is moms job to meet those needs, that's not spoiling, that's doing your job by taking care of your baby!

At this time they're becoming aware that you're leaving them but at the same time they have no idea where or why your going so they cry.
They may also be teething which could be why they're upset and want what brings them comfort "mama"
