How many eggs retrieved at you age and factors?

What was your reasoning for IVF, how old were you, how many eggs did they retrieve and how many matured. 
This is my first time going through IVF. Retrieval is second week of January. Male factor is our reasoning for this route. I have a fear that no matter how many they retrieve, could his low sperm and motility cause embryos to fail? We are going through it ICSI.

Male factor (low count and low morphology) and ovulatory issues. We did IVF with ICSI - 28 retrieved, 24 mature (all fertilised) and 6 made it to blastocyst - we froze all and I am now 35 weeks pregnant from our first FET. Best of luck to you!!

1st IVF (31yo):
18 retrieved/ 18 mature/ 17 fertilized, 
3 blasts, 1st Transfer BFN, 2nd Transfer BFN
3rd Transfer BFP—then MMC at 11 weeks
2nd IVF (32yo):
24 retrieved/ 23 mature/ 20 fertilized
11 blasts/ 
PGS genetic testing 8 normal 3 abnormal 
1st Transfer BFP, now 15 weeks pregnant 
I took 30mg Zinc/1x day 1 month prior and during 2nd IVF. I read that zinc helps the egg develop properly. I did PGS testing 2nd IVF to reduce chances of miscarriage.

29 years old... 43 returned (I have PCOS). 29 were mature, 24 fertilized via ICSI (we have male factor too), 13 made it to day 5. 12 tested genetically normal. 1 baby girl on the way! 😊 good luck!

Egg recovery, fertilization rates and embryo quality are highly impacted by age, the treatment protocol and your body's response to the meds. ICSI will maximize your fertilization rate and so hopefully you respond well to the meds and get a good number of eggs to maximize your chances.  
In our case, we didn't have any specific medical issues but the doctor said the likely problem was egg quality due to my age. In the end, it  took us 3 IVF cycles to find the right treatment protocol to get our BFP.  The 1st was converted to IUI due to poor response to meds (only 4-5 eggs developing), the 2nd we tried a flare protocol with higher med dose and I had 8 follicles, 6 eggs retrieved but only 2 fertilized (natural) and weren't great quality.   The 3rd and successful cycle we changed to an estrogen priming protocol with different meds and both my SO and I did a prep with supplements and we had  13 follicles, 10 eggs retrieved, 9 fertilized with ICSI and ended up with 4 high quality embryos, we transferred 3 on day 3 and ended up with a singleton plus one blast on ice.

I was 35 the day before retrieval, 17 eggs were retrieved, 8 fertilised, 2 day 3 and 3 day 5 so 5 frozen in total through ICSI as husband has very low sperm and we had no problems fertilising with that. No fresh transfer due to OHSS and first FET failed, waiting for 2nd FET Toto take place this Thursday so fingers crossed for a great start to the year 🤞 and good luck to you as well 😙

i got 13 eggs. i have endo which has wrecked my tubes and also pcos. due to the pcos i didnt stim for long to prevent overstimulation i was worried that it wouldnt be enough but was pleased with 13 eggs. we did icsi and all fertilised 10 were still going strong on day 3 and 7 good ones left at day 5. we fresh transferred 1 which took and have 6 frozen. good luck x

Low count, low morpjology, high DNA fragmentation. I was 33. He was 34. They retrieved 7 eggs (all mature). They were unable to access my other ovary. Six took fertilization. Five made it to day 5. We put two back in. One took.

I'm 35, we did IVF because of male factor, I was secretly so afraid all my sacrifice was going to be wasted by his sperm but no, eggs quality plays a big rol!!. I had 14 eggs retrieved, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 3 were frozen on day 3, 5 made it to day 5, had fresh transfer of 3 embryos, 2 implanted but one stopped growing at 7 weeks, I'm currently 29 weeks with our baby girl ❤.

36 1st ICSI 11 eggs retrieved 10 normal fertilisation 9 to blastocyst . first transfer failed . I have endo and male factor antisperm antibodies. starting a long protocol for FET now just turned 37 . god luck
