Will you be using a bassinet?

Question

Curious if you all will be using a bassinet. 
We used one with our first. 
The crib was literally a few feet from us and the bassinet just had her a foot or two closer which was at our bedside. 
I’m debating if we should use one again or the crib might be close enough. Then again if I’m doing something in a different room, having her close to me in the bassinet while she fits is pretty convenient.

I've done bassinet for the first 4-6 months, then crib/bed. I'm just neurotic about SIDS and want to hear that baby breathing in my ear.

Bassinet. Put it up Christmas. I have the space for a crib I just feel like this is better for the first couple months, like you said you can take it with you through out the house.. and I have a toddler

I had a good experience using the bassinet in our room until our first was 4.5 months. Then we moved her to her room. I plan to do the same for  this baby too.

I got the pack n play with the bassinet for a gift so I'm using that until I feel like she's ready for her crib.

I used a pack n play for our daughter last year. She was right next to my bed, but we each had our own space. Once she was able to sit up, we lowered the mattress. I plan on doing the same thing with our next baby.

I have a bassinet and have tried to use it with my last two babies but have never had much luck. They know I’m there and want to be held. Lol They always end up sleeping in bed with me.

We have an arms reach cosleeper that will go bedside to our bed. We used it with our first born as well.

We were given two and didn't use them. Used a reclining high chair instead for naps as it was the right height for me to lift him in/out (I wasn't well after giving birth 🙁)  and at night he slept in his Cot. When #2 arrives we plan on doing the same.
