Would you recommend the copper IUD?

I don’t have an IUD, but I’ve been researching them and reading posts about them through this app for a few months because I’m wanting to get one. I hear lots of people say that the copper IUD makes their periods longer and more severe in terms of cramps than it was before they got an IUD. There are several different hormonal IUDs out there, and from what I’ve read, they either make your period stay the same, get very light but maybe a little irregular as far as when it comes, or can stop your period completely. So, I’d recommend the hormonal type instead of the copper one.

I really like mine. I never had cramps before and now I do and they suck, but it's worth it
