Elective induction

I don't understand the big deal ? I know some women can be at risk for many things for trying to have a elective induction . But why do people think their opinions matter ? If that's what they wanna do . And if the doctor is giving the ok than let them be . I read so many people say " let nature take its course " but sometimes nature fucks up and you gotta get a induction anyway because of baby not wanting to come out . Sooo can people stop saying LET NATURE TAKE ITS COURSE . Or the baby will come when the baby comes . It's so annoying .
