I took the first test yesterday afternoon (my urine was kind of dark but not overly so) Took the second one with fmu this morning. it looks about the same, maybe a tad lighter. Wiring about mc or a chemical. I've had 4 children and a few mc (including one blighted ovum) in between. I'm 37, and very active, so my advanced age and activity level is worrying me. Any thoughts or advice would be helpful! TIA!

Hcg doubles every 24/48 hours. You won't necessarily see a difference in the color if the lines every single day. Test every other day if you want to check on progress. Jumping to a miscarriage or a chemical pregnancy because the lines have stayed the same shade for a day is not doing you or the baby any favors.

I started testing around 11 dpo got faint positives for the first couple days then by the time AF was due I got a solid line. I would worry to much you might have ovulated a little late this month and there’s not much hcg to pick up yet. The wait is killer I know. Give it 2-3 days and test again.

Forgot to mention my period is due approximately today (want charting this month and I have about a 4 day variance)
