I recently got my cartilage pierced. I've had it for about a week, maybe a little bit longer. I have been taking care of it the way my piercer told me to, and it has been healing normally. I worked out today, and there was a thick clear liquid substance coming from my upper ear. It became less red over the past few days but now looks as red as it was on day 1. A little difficult to see in this pic, but there is also some crust between the cartilage and lobe piercing. The crust only appeared today. Is this normal? Is my piercing infected?
