Breastfeeding and formula?

So i breastfed my son for about 3 weeks and then i stopped and switched to formula he was in nicu and it was hard for me to get there everyday due to transportation. He is now a month old and has been home for about 2 weeks im still producing milk my question is is it ok to breastfed on occasion and formula feed also?

Yes, absolutely. It’s called supplemental feeding. Any amount of breast milk you are able to give your son is beneficial for his health!

It’s ok to do it but if you don’t breastfeed constantly or pump your milk will decrease until stop coming out
