Anyone’s 7 year old jumping things??? Idk what to do

It’s normal. It’s just something that feels good to them. Just nicely tell them that while it’s not bad, it’s something we do when alone. Like using the bathroom or changing clothes, please go to your room to do that. Don’t freak out, our pediatrician said she gets a few parents a month who report their kids are doing it and are scared it’s abnormal or a sign of abuse, when it’s a typical stage of childhood.

I’ve caught my 7 year old humping things too and I’m sorry but I’m not about this “do it in the privacy of your room” What happens when your child becomes addicted to that behavior and is going to their room all the time just to maturbate? An elementary school kid!! It’s disgusting imo and idk how to accept that as normal.
