I use a mixture of both. Makeup can be very expensive & I have a hard time spending $50 on a name brand palette when I could spend roughly $20 on basically the same thing at Walmart & still have money left over for more makeup lol. 😂

Usually I do both or mainly drugstore but my husband is all about quality over quantity and is slowly replacing all of my drugstore products with brand products. I’ve got to admit, my makeup looks SO 
MUCH BETTER with the brand products.

A lot of times they’re almost the same, depending on what you get and what tools you apply it with, so there’s no point in wasting money 🤷🏼‍♀️
