Month spending money budget for college freshman?

Hi guys, 
Soon to be college freshman here. Planning on living in the dorms and using the meal plan and am not bringing a car to my university. Also, my saint of a mother is paying my tuition. SO, With that being said how much would you guys advise i use as a monthly spending money budget? (Will be using money from my own savings)

I would recommend getting an easy job on campus if you want spending money, instead of depleting your savings. A lot of university student jobs are really flexible and work around your schedule. My friend just puts books away in the library and goes in pretty much whenever she can. Even a couple days a week would be enough for a little bit of money and not too much to distract you from school. Plus it’s a bit of work experience too.
