IUD? Like it? Love it? Hate it?

Has having the IUD stopped your period completely? I know everybody is different just trying to see how it was for other people.

I removed my skyla yesterday after 2 years. The first year no period at all. This last year had it on an off. And the last 4 months had it every month but not when expected.

I had mine for almost 2 years and only spotted every once in awhile. took it out had a 3 day period and am now patiently waiting to see when Ill get that positive.

I still had a period, mine came out of its spot twice before I got it removed, also my bf could feel it when having sex poking him maybe cause it wasent in right

First understand everybody is extremely different. That is for birth control, sex, periods, anal, oral, orgasm,  etc. I had the IUD for 5 years. My doctor was awesome, no pain at all. I went back once to have my string cut smaller and nothing else. My cycle was regular and only 3 days. I love it and it was wonderful. My husband and I wasn't ready for kids and we love having sex and didn't want to use condums. I got it remove after my 5 years and got on the pill was concern and nervous about getting on my period. Now after 2 years stop taking the pill trying for our 1st baby.
