Is his immigration status relevant?

In my city there was a CHP officer who was hit and killed by a drunk driver on Christmas eve. He left behind a wife and 3 young children.

Recently the name of the driver was released, Mohammed Ali. The article said nothing about his immigration status, only his name and charges. This was one of the comments on he Facebook article. My question is, do you think this lady was right in bringing you his immigration status(even though we actually don’t know if he is even an immigrant).

The two comments you see are both from the same lady. People jumped all over her for her first comment so she felt the need to defend herself.
