Too Many Ultrasounds?

Question

I am 5 weeks 1 day and I wanted to go at 6 weeks and hear the baby's heart beat but then I would go to my actual doctor and they will do one at 8 weeks. my question is would a ultrasound at 6 weeks and then another at 8 weeks hurt the baby? I had a Missed Miscarriage in September 2017 and I'm scared maybe there is to much radiation and it hurt cause my baby to stop growing and heartbeating would stop??? please comment

I had four in my first trimester alone. One at 4 weeks, 2 at 7 weeks and 1 at 12 weeks. Baby girl was born in December. Ultrasounds don’t cause miscarriages.

I had twins and pretty much every appointment was an ultrasound and I found out at 5 weeks. So a dozen at least and I honestly don’t feel like they affect the baby like some say.

theres a small chance at 6 weeks you wont be able to hear a heartbeat yet. so just wait. if youre THAT scared, buy a home doppler off any store website.

There’s an old wives tale that many ultrasounds can cause your baby to be left handed 😬. My mom had a ton with me because I crossed my legs at every single visit and I turned out to be the ONLY lefty in my entire family, even extended. But if that’s the only thing to worry about, I think you’ll be fine. Us lefties are quite great 😅.
