Birth control

Alright ladies

I need help. I don't know how to talk to my mom about me wanting to start birth control. I'm 14 turning 15 in May and sometimes my mom isn't the easy person to talk to I just gotta catch her at the right time. I've been wanting to start BC because it can make your period shorter and not as heavy. I'm in Marching band and I want to do other sports, but my period is horrible. It lasts for 7 days and so heavy. Cramps also pop out of nowhere like I'll have them this month but not the next. Anyway I don't now how to bring this up with my mom do just go hey mom can I get BC. I could do that but I prefer to keep my life😂. Also I have no one else to talk to it just me and my mom here she's my everything.
