So I’ve had my nose pierced twice. Both on the right side of my nose. When I got it done the first time, I really struggled with it. I could not get it to be in an OK state. I tried to change the piercing in hopes that I different style would help, but wasn’t able to get another back in. Fast forward to the second time I got it pierced. Everything was going well, and suddenly I had developed a small keloid in my nose next to the piercing. I thought maybe it would go away, but it didn’t. It felt fine other wise, and when it seemed healed and it was time to change it, the skin on the inside of the piercing ripped out and I had to let it close.

I still find myself wanting to get my nose pierced, but not sure the best way to go about it. Maybe I could try the other side.

Side note: both piercings were done at top rated state licensed shops!
