To get new bottles or reuse?

Question

I had trouble breast feeding with my first baby, so I haven’t decided what to do with the second...
But as for bottle feeding: I’m not sure if I should get new bottles, or just new nipples? Or can I save money by just boiling the ones I have and have baby #2 use those?!
What do you mom’s think?

I think I'm just gonna get new nipples. I plan to breast feed again but there are many times where I'll use a bottle for pumped milk.

I saved 2 bottles from my my son for sentimental reasons. I plan on using them because they were great and buying some new ones as well. I see no harm in using old bottles as long as the nipples are in good condition. The nipples are easily replaceble anyways.  Im pretty sure all baby bottles are bpa free and stuff so you shouldnt have to worry about chemical leeching. and if chemical leaching were any issue plastic wouldnt be acceptable because it would leach right away anyways. Thats just my opinion. The only way I wouldnt use them is if they were like 10 years old because regulation on plastics was different back then.

Nipples aren’t that expensive. We are going to reuse some nipples that clearly weren’t used very often but probably buy new nipples. We are keeping the same bottles though

Considering we sterilized everything after every wash and most importantly my first son was never sick. So I’m going to reuse the bottles and nipples.
