IVF and marijuana use

My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 2 years. We have a 3.5 year old but We’ve had 8 miscarriages in the last 2 years. We found out that I have a balanced translocation which is causing the miscarriages. (The babies have genetic issues)

We have now turned to ivf but my husband doesn’t want to quit smoking pot. (I’m totally ok with his smoking. That’s not the issue.)

Can he smoke while we do ivf? Has anybody ever done it ?

No judgements please. He works his ass off and it’s his stress reliever / down time.

He has no fertility issues
