My moms issues with my baby shower.

I need opinions..

I’m throwing my own shower. I want my friends, close family, and their counterparts. (Kids, husbands). My mom got really mad at me for inviting men and children. She also got upset because I told everyone I wasn’t expecting gifts (I feel it’s my responsibility, and we already have everything except a stroller and things like bottles.) I just asked that everyone brought a pack of Pampers. She said she refuses to come if that’s the way I do it.

She then said that she’s throwing me one with no one but her, my grandma, and people MOM works with. I don’t feel comfortable with it. She also said that she would tell me older sister not to come to mine and only go to hers. Not even both.

What do you ladies think? Am I being crazy?
