36 weeks too late for a baby shower?

Sweet hubby and best friend have decided to throw me a baby shower, he’d like to hold it the day after he graduates with his masters so we can celebrate both to some extent and there’s a good chance his sisters will be here from out of the country which is great because they could attend the shower too. Only problem is I’ll already be 36+3 and I’m worried I won’t be able to enjoy it at all. Any moms out there who can comment from experience if they think I’ll be okay or if this is way too late to have the shower? FTM here so maybe I’m worried for nothing idk.
