shaving your face

so i shaved my face for the first time the other day and it's honestly one of the best things I've ever done! my face looks so smooth and soft I can't evem believe it! my problem tho? I think it caused me to break out. I used the finishing touch flawless electric razor thingy that looks like a lipstick. I'm not sure if it was that but I have no idea what else it could be. Any tips on what I should do after shaving to prevent breakouts? When I used to shave my mustache area with a razor I would always get bumps there too when the hair started to grow back
