So...something that’s just in my head lately. I keep seeing a lot of those text memes on Facebook about women being bosses, be it in school, work, owning and handling their own places, just all around running their shit. But then conversely there’s a lot of posts about holding a man down that’s a ‘work in progress.’ And I saw something on YouTube and they basically said ‘successful women have a hard time dating because they won’t trust potential.’ Like I get it if they’re still in school and all that but most of the ladies I know who do stay with their works in progress, they find out these guys usually don’t make strides to be doing anything else. What gets me is I’ve been unfortunately single for six years now and in that amount of time I got my bachelors, finishing a certification, and with any luck I’ll be working for a real studio in a couple months 🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾 So would it really be all that terrible when I finally started to date again I would expect someone as put together? Because from the sounds of it it seems like I’d be asking a lot. Any thoughts?
