vbac or repeat c-section?

thoughts. stories. advice? id love to try a vbac but part of me is so scared. not due til August

Vbac all the way, if your doctor will support it, try it. Less recovery time and really uterine rupture risk is a very very low percentage.

I would say if you want more kids than not try for a vbac. Multiple csections can limit the amount of births you can have and just put you and baby at a higher risk for something to go wrong. I have had 3, wanted to do vbac with second but he was breach so I had to do a section and third one as well. Trying for #4 is scary but my dr said it’s perfectly fine. I have other drs say no way.

I had a repeat csection. The 2nd csection was much better than the first and recovery was easier. I’m a little sad though, because now on my 3rd I asked about a VBAC and they said absolutely not. However, at my hospital- they’re doing more to allow that initial bonding and will be laying baby on my chest while they close me up ☺️☺️
