FTM what to tell work!?

Question

So I just found out I'm pregnant about 4w 4d. And I work in housekeeping/laundry at a hotel, which at times is quite physical. so what I'm wondering is, when would be a good time to tell my boss I'm pregnant? I don't wanna tell too early in case something happens, but I don't wanna be pushed too much if the job is getting too physical. What's your advice?

you've been doing the job already before becoming pregnant which means your body is used to it. let your OB-GYN know what you do for work and ask when and or if you need to stop working or scale back at a certain point. Bear in mind that the majority of women do not have to change their job responsibilities while pregnant because their body is used to doing them anyhow

I worked my physical full time job up until 36 weeks when I qualified for state disability and could go on leave. Like the others say, your body is used to the work. If something comes up in your pregnancy or if you feel your body is strained too hard, then speak with your doctor and you may be able to do modified duty.
