ovulation and bleeding?

i use the clearblue ovulation test and havent gotton a smily face yet. and im cramping and spotting now. im confused. period dec 22/26

I've had trouble with Clear Blue. 1 month got one day of an LH surge but it was lighter, according to the directions that doesn't mean it's positive. I started testing in the afternoon bc a different brands directions said to test in the afternoon. That cycle I had 2 days with an LH surge, which doesn't always happen apparently though 1 was lighter again.  And this past month I didn't get a positive surge at all. We tried everyday through my 3 most fertile days according to the previous months and the app. Next month I'm thinking about getting a different brand.  Good Luck.
