Help!! Is this normal??

I have had 2 scans already due to my history. First scan I thought I was 5 weeks 5 days from LMP Could only see gestation sack and yolk sack.. no baby or heartbeat. I was asked to go back 9 days later as possibly earlier than I thought. Went back on Friday which would have put me at 7 weeks 1 day from LMP. Saw baby and heartbeat flickering away however baby only measuring at 3mm which midwife says puts me around 4 weeks. I have an idea of when I ovulated which corresponds with LMP date which means development is way behind. This is our rainbow 🌈 so really worried that something bad may happen 😢 just wondered if anyone had a similar thing or if these measurements could mean I am further than they have placed me?

If they saw a heart beat that wouldn’t put you at 4 weeks. Can’t see a heart beat till 6+ weeks.

Thank you that is reassuring. I was so sure of my dates and got bfp 20th December so worried myself into thinking something is wrong. Waiting on official dating scan coming through in the next few weeks so just keeping everything crossed 🤞x

I went for my first scans at 12 weeks, but our baby only measure 9+5. Our baby was perfectly healthy, but doctor said I may have implanted or ovulated later than I thought or even born, which could cause the dating to be off. So based on my LMP I am like 22 some odd weeks, but based on my adjusted measurements I am 18+5. (And baby is healthy and happy). It's really common for the math to not match the baby. That's why your first scan is called a "dating scan". So I wouldn't worry too much unless they said the baby wasn't developing right.
