when to announce!

at what week did you ladies announce your pregnancies? i’ve been trying to hold off to 12 weeks when the risks aren’t so high for miscarriage but i’m already 9 weeks and only close family knows! i’m so excited and holding it in has been killing me lol

We told families right when we found out and social media at 7 weeks. We know it's early and we got a lot of people messaging us saying we should have waited due to the chance of miscarriage, but honestly, we decided if we did miscarry we wanted the support and we wanted to be vocal about our journey and how it can happen to anyone. We also knew we wanted to celebrate any little life we were blessed with for as long as we were blessed with it!!! We are so happy to currently be 20
Weeks with a very healthy and happy baby boy. We don't regret sharing, but it's up to you and your partner :)

I told people at 4 weeks! As soon as I got my positive test!

I found out when I was only 4 weeks and we waited until 12 weeks before we even told family! We lived two states away so that made it a little easier to hide also.

I'd hold off til 14 weeks when you're out of first trimester. I've personally just known too many instances of people announcing sooner and then loosing baby. It's really an individual choice though

My boss has been out on medical leave and I really want to tell her before I announce to the rest of the world and my coworkers. We're about 2 and a half months pregnant now. I think I'm going to text her this week :)

For both of my pregnancies I waited until I was 18 weeks to announce. I told my best friend,sister and mother around 12 weeks.

We told our parents and siblings when we found out at 7 weeks, then actually announced after I had my 12 week appointment and everything looked good. I feel like it was easier for us to wait though since we didn’t find out until later than most people do anyways.
