Anyone get a heartbeat on ultrasound but later miscarry?

I’m curious if this happens. I was diagnosed with a threatened miscarriage at 6w1d but baby’s bpm was 103. 
Is it possible to lose a heartbeat after finding it?

We saw a perfectly healthy baby at 9w5d and with a good heartbeat and everything, and then at 14 weeks couldn't find it and found out the baby passed at 10 weeks. So it does happen. I hope for you that you have a sticky bean in there and end up with a perfectly healthy baby.

Unfortunately I saw the heartbeat and then miscarried in November.  I never heard it but my OBGYN showed my husband and I the flickering heartbeat on the sonogram. 2 days later I miscarried.  Did your doctor say you should be worried? Or did she say everything looked good?

Yes, unfortunately it is possible. I had an ultrasound at about 7-8wks and there was a strong healthy heartbeat. We had a miscarriage at 9wks.. try not to stress out though that only causes more issues. Stay positive! Good luck!

It does happen, I had a dating scan and the heartbeat was slightly low (but they weren't too concerned) I had a follow up scan 2 weeks later and there was no heartbeat.
The opposite is also just as likely though, don't panic yourself over maybes xx

With my first pregnancy we heard the heartbeat at 6 weeks all the way to 10 weeks went to the er for bleeding at 12 and baby stopped growing at 11. Unfortunately it can happen but there are many other women who have had bleeding and not lost the baby.

definitely not answers a hopeful mom wants to hear but it’s best to be realistic, i guess.

Yup. 2 years ago baby had a heartbeat and was perfectly healthy at 10 weeks. I went in at 16 weeks and found out I had lost the baby. It happens.
