Birth control pills?

Do all birth control pills have the same effectiveness? Like are theres ones for the girls who are very sexually active? and the ones who only are occasionally? I need help! And what birth control do you use and works best? Explain why too please(:

Birth control is birth control. You get different variations of pills (for example one may have the same dose of a certain hormone throughout the entire active pills, and others will have different doses throughout the weeks. Some have a high dose of X hormone, while others have a high dose of Y hormone).
That's why it's important to get a prescription- some may cause breakthrough bleeding for you, some have other side effects (I remember the first pill I was on was Yasmin- it gave me severe abdominal pains and dryness).
I'm just talking about the pill because I was on that for ever and it worked perfectly fine for me.
