I’m a beginner and starting to buy makeup. What are the essentials?

So far I’m going to get liquid foundation from Mac, Nars concealer I’m chantilly, mascara from ??? I was thinking Mac or maybe a cheaper brand, hourglass primer

Not sure about powder. My foundation shade is nw10 so should I go for translucent powder? I was planning to order powder from a Korean store.

And finally the Nars audacious lipstick in Anita, it looks so nice.

Not planning eye makeup yet, I’ll just keep at mascara for now.

Are lip liners important?
