My 1 week old daughter had a bilirubin level of 14 then it stayed the same for awhile and then we were discharged with a bilirubin level of 12.4. She pooped everyday at the hospital but the next day that we were home she stopped! It's been 2 days since she's gone. We went to the doctor yesterday and she switched her formula to Total Comfort from originally Pro Advance to maybe help her system adjust better. She still hasn't pooped and I'm getting worried that she's not getting rid of the bilirubin. She's been eating great and peeing and a little gassy but just not pooping. She's in the sunlight right now and we've tried bicycling her legs and using a q-tip to maybe help stimulate poop but nothing has worked. I'm stressed she's not getting rid of those bilirubin. Wondering if I should give it time or call her doctor to check levels?
