when do you start preparing a nusery

hi ladies .. I am 14 weeks with my first baby  and yet didn't start  preparing anything for the baby ! I think it's too early to set the nursery  or shop any clothes since I  dot know the gender .. my due date is in July ( summer) and all the items I see in stores  are  for winter .. actually I didn't get myself any clothes yet😂 I only bought 1 pregnancy jeans and 1 sweat pants 🙈🙈 It seems like I don't care 🙈🙈 but I do 💓💓

I did mine after my 20 week anatomy scan, we didn’t find out the gender but that’s the last scan/ check up of that kind you get in uk so seemed the right time

I still haven't bought this kid anything and I'm due in April. This is my third.

Around 18 weeks we started picking out paint colors and all and then around 23 weeks we ordered furniture. 27 weeks we painted. 28 weeks we assembled furniture.  And now at 29 weeks we’re just decorating/finishing touches. My shower is this weekend so we wanted to have it set up so we can put stuff away appropriately after.

I was 13 weeks at my 12 week scan so afterwards we went and bought a unisex changing mat, steriliser, bath and Moses basket. All things that were white so wouldn’t matter either way. Also got a couple of white vests and babygrows. Didn’t buy anything else until after 20 weeks when we knew what we were having

I’m 15 weeks and plan to set up the baby room when we move house in 2 weeks. I don’t have much but I plan to add to it bit by bit. I won’t know the sex of the baby till early February. I know then I probably will go crazy on buying items. Lol

I move in our house on February 2nd. I’m due April 4th and im going to set up the big things and do the closet until we get the gifts from the baby shower and then figure out what to do with the rest.

I'm 26w2d and I haven't bought much yet. She has some clothes, diapers, etc. but still no big items yet. I have my registry done and I'm waiting till after my shower at 33 weeks so I can just do all the returning, exchanging, and buying what I still need all at once. But I do plan on ordering her car seat/travel system, and a pack and play in the next couple week.. just in case something were to happen.
