Had my membrane swept earlier today. Dr said my cervix Is favorable to go into labor within 24 hours. 4cm dilated and 75% effaced. Had some cramping within minutes after my sweep and for the last 3 hours I've had random contractions. Just in case I have a scheduled induction date in a week and a half. What's everyone's experience with a sweep?

My Dr told me to do a lot of walking within the next 24 hours, try eating spicy foods preferably tonight so I don't get sick during labor, sex and nipple stimulation by hand to help the process along since I went into labor a little over a week ago and it stalled out after 21 hours. So we're crossing our fingers our little princess will arrive soon.
