I just had it done this afternoon and I honestly couldn't tell it from the cervical check. I've heard its different for everyone though!

I would say it's an uncomfortable pressure not so much painful.

Had one today, it was mostly uncomfortable and I felt like I was going to pee lol but not really painful

Mine wasn’t painful. 
 My midwife said it depends on who is doing it. She Also said my cervix was lower so i didn’t have any pain- just discomfort like a regular vagina check. 
I had it at 39+3, 2/3 dilated

It’s not so much painful, you feel more pressure than anything and it’s definitely uncomfortable...
