For the duration (not entire really) of my boyfriend fingering my tonight there was a pain in one area f my vagina, like I had a cut. I assumed it was his fingernail that had just cut into me there and kinda just shrugged it off, ignoring the slight pain. The pain then continued as he was eating me out- still in that spot. When we stopped and got out of bed I looked back and notice some blood on my bed, but unlike period blood or blood from the hymen bleeding this looked as though it was slightly watered down or something; very light red, only a small bit of blood. As I went to the bathroom just recently I looked at my vagina and noticed that the inner left side is swollen/inflamed and the top (being the area inside the “lips” of the vagina, going up towards the stomach) was bright red. My first thought is; it’s infected. But in the past having an infection when I was younger it was only light red; no inflammation. My second thought is this cut that I thought I had must be either infected or got aggravated and swelled up that area of my vagina. It looks very odd looking at my vagina front on because it looks like there’s three “lips” instead of the usual two (I’m tempted to add s photograph but I won’t as I’m not sure if that’s allowed on here..) but I was just wondering what’s wrong here?? I was thinking if I didn’t wear any underwear sleeping tonight and gave it some air and then waited a day or two to see if the inflammation goes away/down then that would be a good plan, and if not then head to the doctors. But the only thing is I don’t want my mother knowing about my ‘sex’ life and whatever so I’m not quite sure what I would say to her about this (I’m only a teenager). Any help on what I should do/what this is is greatly appreciated! x
