I was due with my baby boy on January 20th but my body had other plans. On Christmas I noticed swelling a lot of swelling in my face, legs, and feet they tripled in size. I gave it a few days thinking maybe it was the walking and and traveling from the holidays. It never returned to normal so I went to L&D; 3 days lasted turns out preeclampsia had came out of no where. Doctor decided to give me steroid shots for his lungs I was 36 weeks and 4 days and he was going to induce me on the 29th of December. I had an uncomplicated labor I got to a loose 7 and ended up getting the epidural it was amazing! I was only in labor for 12 hours and pushed for 20 minutes and my little man entered this world at 8:55pm on December 29th weighing 6lbs 10oz and 19inches long. Unfortunately was unable to do skin to skin and he had to be hooked up to an i.v. Drip and we stayed in the hospital for 3 days due to breathing turns out he just transitioned later. Here we are now happy and healthy💙💙
